New 2024 Jeep Renegade Models, Engine, Exterior – The small Jeep Renegade crossover is a throwback to the Detroit manufacturer’s past. The Renegade shares its basis with its corporate sister, the Fiat 500X, but it also offers an all-wheel-drive and a “Trail-Rated” badge to appeal to adventurers. The Jeep Renegade is the only subcompact with this kind of off-road prowess, so it’s a bummer that the only transmission option is a nine-speed automatic. On the plus side, the infotainment system is among the finest in the business.

2024 Jeep Renegade Redesign

A nine-speed automatic is the vehicle’s only mode of propulsion. The turbocharged engine produces a lot of torque, but it is slowed down by the worst automatic transmission that the year 2024 has to offer. Inaccurate shifts, a continually shifting transmission, and even shift-by-hand instructions are ineffective since the transmission just ignores them. Furthermore, even while traveling at highway speeds with minimum engine inputs, the eighth and ninth ratios are of no value, making the car’s nine gears a total waste of time. Although a manual transmission would certainly improve the driving experience, the motor is plain irritating.
It has the most fuel-efficient EPA-rated statistic in the range, at 24/32/27mpg city/highway/combination.The fuel economy drops to 23/29/26 mpg if you use the 4×4 drivetrain. Out of all the models, the Trailhawk with 4×4 has the poorest fuel economy with 22/27/24 mpg. If you have a 12.7-gallon petrol tank, you should be able to cruise for roughly 343 miles with the most efficient model. For comparison, the 2.0-liter Subaru Crosstrek automatic can get up to 28/33/30 mpg in the city/highway driving mode.
2024 Jeep Renegade Release Date and Price
ts at $22,495 with 2WD or $24,095 with 4WD. Only this model comes standard with 2WD, as all others come standard with 4WD. Those are the prices for the Latitude, which costs $26,695, the Altitude ($27,690), the Red Edition ($28,185), and the Limited ($29,995). The Trailhawk, although being more competent, is priced the same at $29,995. Taxes, license, registration, and Jeep’s $1,595 destination cost are not included in the price of the new Jeep Renegade. More than $35,000 will be needed for the Jeep Renegade to be fully equipped.
